Introducing Sneaky Fox Records
New vinyl bar & music venue opening downtown
Coastal Reverb is proud to be a part of the upcoming opening of Sneaky Fox Records - a new vinyl bar and venue located inside Tailored Hair in downtown San Diego! Described by founder Lizzy Broughton as “a portal of music, community, and storytelling,” Sneaky Fox is set to become a true hub for vinyl heads and audiophiles, featuring immersive sound design and a Wrensilva console hand-built here in San Diego.
Live shows, vinyl DJ sets, and other music listening events will be a cornerstone of Sneaky Fox’s in-person experience. To help celebrate, all are invited this Saturday, October 25 to the grand opening party, which will feature performances by Moderator, Nick at Nite, and Nishikaze City Nights. Moderator is an acclaimed DJ and producer hailing all the way from Athens, Greece. He has become an integral part of the global downtempo and trip-hop scene since debuting in 2015; prepare to be absolutely mesmerized by his propulsive, zoned-out sounds. Nick Aguilar, also known for the DJ moniker Nick at Nite, is based in Long Beach and specializes in soul, funk, garage, African and Latin sounds, and everything in between. He’s also the drummer for the acclaimed psychedelic rock band Frankie and the Witch Fingers. And then there’s Nishikaze City Nights - the local DJ duo of Mike and Yuki Irons - who will be spinning from their extensive vintage Japanese vinyl collection. Come out and celebrate a one-of-a-kind night at San Diego’s newest and greatest vinyl music hub.
Furthermore, on the horizon, Sneaky Fox will feature a robust concert and event calendar, including the recurring Sonic Sanctuary, going down every other Sunday morning from 10-11:30 AM. Sonic Sanctuary is an immersive listening experience that combines the timeless warmth of vinyl with the meditative depth of Yin Yoga.
