Coach Party - “Girls!”

Coach Party is a band hailing from the Isle of Wight who conjure explosive, shreddy alt rock and garage rock soundscapes. Back with their first new music since 2023, the band has shared the fiery new anthem “Girls!” - the first taste of their newly announced upcoming sophomore LP Caramel, which drops on September 26 via Chess Club Records.

The band self-produced the ten-track record, which aims to capture their raw energy, brutally honest introspection, and incendiary spirit. The album parses themes of isolation and loneliness in the digital age, and the therapeutic power of friendship and community. On “Girls!” frontwoman Jess Eastwood screams “where the fuck are my girls?” - a stereo-shattering call-to-arms that definitely feels like it’s built for the band’s riveting live shows, with its defiant, mosh pit-inducing energy.

Along with the single, the accompanying music video envisions a Coach Party gig as a surreal safe space for self-expression. On the track, Eastwood shared, “it’s a mosh-inciting, live hype song along the lines of, for the next 3 minutes, whoever you are, you’re all my girls and you’re all gonna fucking mosh. When it’s over, you can go back to being whoever you usually are – but for right now, let loose and have fun.”
