Buddha Trixie - “mouf”

Buddha Trixie, one of San Diego’s favorite alt-rock rising sons, have just released a brand new track to kick off the new year, and it’s as golden as you can expect. “mouf” is a moody, sassy mid-tempo stunner - a propulsive fusion of guitars, synths, and pulsating drums that’ll have you humming and grooving along from start-to-finish. On top of that, there’s the catchy singalong-inducing chorus, which all adds up to something we very much want to see and hear in a live setting.

Thankfully, we should be getting that opportunity very soon; the band is headed out on a tour of the western United States with Pity Party - starting out with a hometown gig at SOMA Sidestage on March 12. Having just wrapped a slate of dates opening for The Frights, Buddha Trixie are diving into 2026 head first and we can’t wait to hear what comes next out of them.
