Buddha Trixie - “Sexless Virgins”
Buddha Trixie has been one of San Diego’s most beloved local rising bands of the last several years, with their anthemic elixir of indie, alt-rock, power pop, and garage rock constantly shape-shifting and evolving along with a growing fanbase. They’ve been dropping a steady, consistent stream of singles in 2025, and they’re keeping that momentum going with new track “Sexless Virgins.”
Combining catchy hooks, playfully scorching riffs, and pummeling percussion, “Sexless Virgins” is another infectious anthem that carries on the garage-y pop-punk lineage of bands like Wavves, FIDLAR, and fellow locals The Frights. “Someone put my address on Craigslist/ Now there’s a line of sexless virgins,” singer Daniel Cole yells on the track’s angsty, humorous chorus - which will have many concert-going fans singing and moshing along to. Another dynamite single from one of SD’s finest.
We’ll keep you posted on any new stuff from Buddha Trixie going forward. Meanwhile, they are set to open on the West Coast dates of The Frights’ upcoming tour, including stops in LA, Santa Cruz, SLO, and more. Feel free to check out those dates and dive into “Sexless Virgins” below.
