Wavves - “Spun”

One of San Diego’s most beloved homegrown acts, Wavves, will return next month with new album Spun - which drops on June 6 via frontman Nathan Williams’ own Ghost Ramp label. We’ve already heard earlier singles “So Long” and “Goner,” and now today the band has shared the album’s title track.

It’s another catchy, propulsive slice of alt rock and pop punk that’s just classic Wavves - with a chorus that goes as big and anthemic as any title track should, with more hints of a sleeker power pop sound. It hits the band’s sweet spot, balancing explosive riffs with searing nostalgic moods.
