Two Headed Girl - “Snowglobe”

Two Headed Girl is a DIY San Diego band comprised of singer-songwriter/guitarist CJ Fischer, drummer Tommy English, and bassist Alyson Valdez. Their music is extremely catchy and heartfelt, stitching together elements of garage, indie rock, emo, and pop punk - with colorful and poignant lyrics galore. I was a huge fan of their 2023 debut LP You Are Here, and now they’re starting 2025 right with the stunning new single “Snowglobe.”

Over throttling basslines and driving power chords, Fischer guides listeners through an infectious, nervy power pop anthem. The track’s huge chorus “Still won’t let me out/ Shake me up and put me back down…” will definitely induce many singalongs and moshpits to come.
